Justina Kimball, MA, LMFT #150136

Justina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. She has a diverse background working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Throughout her career, she has provided both group and individual therapy for clients dealing with substance use disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic symptoms, trauma, and gender identity issues.
Justina has experience in various settings, including detox, residential, and outpatient facilities. She practices from a client-centered perspective, emphasizing empathetic listening, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity to help her clients feel comfortable and understood. Additionally, she is skilled in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which aids clients in managing challenging behaviors and experiencing emotions in healthy ways.
Justina believes that fostering a healthy family dynamic is crucial to overall recovery and healing. Her ultimate goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space where clients feel truly known and supported.
Outside of her professional life, Justina enjoys being a mother to her two sons and her dog, Obiwankenobi. She loves hiking, drinking coffee, eating sushi, and watching The Office.
